Turkcell, Turkey's peace-themed marathon, the first marathon of Gallipoli, Canakkale Volkswagen Dealer with the support Avek will take place on Sunday, October 2nd.

This year, "Run for Peace" slogan will be held for the second time, Turkcell Gallipoli Marathon will be held in 4 categories. In addition to the full and half marathon, the 10-kilometer race and the public race will take place.

In the 42-kilometer full marathon course, where professional athletes will participate, athletes will take two tours between Morto Bay and Alçıtepe Village. In the half marathon, this distance will be taken a round. The participants will finish the race at the starting point by passing the French Monument and Redoubt British Cemetery. A large race is expected to participate in the same race, 5 kilometers away will be held. The award ceremony will be held at the start point at the event area at 14.00. At the end of the Turkcell Gallipoli Marathon, it is aimed to create a peace forest by planting as many saplings as the number of participants.

Volkswagen models at the Marathon Fair

The marathon fair, where participants can get their chest numbers, timing chips and race t-shirts, will be held between 29 September and 1 October at Çanakkale Central Pier Square. At the fair, Çanakkale Volkswagen Authorized Dealer Avek, one of the supporters of the marathon, will showcase the most popular passenger and commercial vehicle models of the Volkswagen brand.
